Stephan Jenn
Stephan Jenn, 40, founder, President
Stephan Jenn co-founded Novalyst in 2002 and is a co-founder of PhytoDia in 2006. Currently he is heading Novalyst, PhytoDia as well as a sister company AliX Pharma. Before, Stephan Jenn was Vice President of Corporate Development at Graffinity Pharmaceuticals AG (now Santhera Pharmaceuticals, Heidelberg, Germany). Previously, he worked in international corporate finance as Engagement Director for Mazars in Paris then in Frankfurt. Stephan Jenn is a graduate from l'École Supérieure de Commerce de Rouen and received his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School.

Anne Briot
Anne Briot-Dietsch, 33, Ph.D., Head of Business Development
Anne Briot-Dietsch joined Novalyst in early 2004 as Novalyst's second employee. She was responsible for external contract research, in charge of project management, scientific team coordination and client relationship development. Today, Dr Briot-Dietsch leads Novalyst’s business development effort.
Anne Briot-Dietsch graduated first of her class in organic chemistry at Louis Pasteur University (Strasbourg, France) and completed a Ph.D. in organic chemistry under the supervision of Dr C. Mioskowski also at Louis Pasteur University. Dr Briot-Dietsch is co-author of 8 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Marie Brellier-Bensel
Marie Brellier-Bensel, 30, Ph.D., Head of Contract Research
Marie Brellier-Bensel joined Novalyst in 2005 as a research scientist and project manager for external research. Today, Dr Brellier-Bensel heads Novalyst’s contract research activity and is responsible for external research collaboration management, scientific team leadership and client relationship.
Marie Brellier-Bensel graduated 'summa cum laude' from ECPM chemistry engineering school (Strasbourg, France) and completed a Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Louis Pasteur University (Strasbourg, France) under the supervision of Dr C. Mioskowski. Dr Brellier-Bensel is co-author of 4 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Paola Ciapettil
Paola Ciapetti, 39, Ph.D., Head of Medicinal Chemistry
Paola Ciapetti joined Novalyst in 2008 to head the medicinal chemistry department and is responsible for medicinal chemistry programs supervision and client relationship management.
She completed her Ph.D. in organic chemistry at University of Florence (1997, Italy) under the supervision of Professor M. Taddei and started her professional career as visiting scientist at Eli Lilly (Indianapolis, USA) where she worked for two years in the CNS department on iGluR5 receptor antagonists. Subsequently she went to Albany Molecular Research as Senior Research Scientist to work on TGF-ß inhibitors. In late 2001, she joined Prestwick Chemical (Strasbourg, France) to launch the medicinal chemistry department. Under her tenure she made an essential contribution for the successful completion of two preclinical programs in oncology and in antibiotics. Dr Ciapetti is co-author of 9 peer-reviewed papers, co-inventor of 11 patents and is also contributive author to the following books "Comprehensive Medicinal Chemistry II (2006, Elsevier)" and "The Practice of Medicinal Chemistry (3rd Edition, by C. G. Wermuth, 2008, Elsevier)".
