September 2008 : Novalyst Discovery and AliX agree to merge. NovAliX launch. Integrating structural biology and medicinal chemistry.

 Following long-standing cooperation, Novalyst Discovery, a chemistry services company, and AliX, a structural biology company, have agreed to merge to create a leading CRO. Together they have launched NovAliX, a multidisciplinary company providing flexible outsourcing solutions for drug discovery and development.

Trophées INPI de l'innovation 2007
November 2007 : Novalyst Discovery is a laureate of the 10th edition of the INPI Trophies of Innovation, for its dynamic innovation and intellectual property policy.
Every two years, the INPI (National Institute for Intellectual Property) organises the INPI Trophies whose goal is to promote Small and Medium-sized Entreprises that have successfully used patents for business development.





November 2007 : Dr Alain Wagner returned to academic research to take over Dr Charles Mioskowski former research unit at Louis Pasteur University (Strasbourg, France).

January 2007 : Novalyst relocated to a brand-new and state-of-the-art chemistry facility in the BioParc, a science park in Strasbourg. This new infrastructure comprises 800 square metres of laboratory space specifically designed and equipped for research and development in organic synthesis.

October 2006 : Project NovAliX was awarded significant funding from the French Ministry of Industry, Oseo Innovation Agency as well as from Alsace regional bodies. For this project, AliX, a structure-based drug discovery company, Novalyst and the renowned IGBMC, Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology (Illkirch, France) have joined forces to develop novel compounds for a newly identified target.
The NovAliX project received a label from the globally-oriented competitiveness cluster “Innovations thérapeutiques”, coordinated by Alsace Biovalley.

Prix Biotech Alsace 2003 Categorie Entreprise
2003 : Winner of the Alsace Biotech Award 2003, presented on 2 December 2003 by Adrien Zeller, President of the Alsace Regional Council. In the "Company" category, this award is given to an innovative company undertaking activities in the field of life sciences or biotechnologies whose headquarters are in Alsace. Novalyst's innovation was the creation of an Encyclopaedia of chemical reactivity.

2003 : Novalyst was a prize winner of Tremplin Entreprise (Enterprise Springboard), the Paris Venture Capital Summit. Co-organized by the French Senate and Essec Business School, Tremplin Entreprises seeks to provide selected entrepreneurs, hand-picked by an independent committee of venture capitalists and start-up consultants, with the opportunity to present their projects to interested investors.

2002 : Novalyst was amongst the winners of the 2002 national contest "Concours National d’Aide à la Création d’Entreprises de Technologies Innovantes" organised by the Ministry of Research with the support of OSEO-ANVAR agency.
